IRVING, Texas – On Thursday DeMarcus Ware said he would play Sunday against Pittsburgh, but it looks like the Cowboys outside linebacker will miss his third straight day of practice.
Ware was not on the field during the portion of Friday’s practice that was open to the media because of a hyperextended elbow. Ware has been fitted for a brace.
Ware has been bothered by an assortment of injuries this season from his neck and shoulder and now his elbow.
The only other player missing from practice was nose tackle Jay Ratliff, who had surgery on Thursday in Philadelphia for a sports hernia.
