IRVING, Texas – Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne, who missed Sunday's win against Pittsburgh because of a concussion, was on the field Wednesday during the part of practice that is open to the media.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant is practicing despite his fractured left index finger after not practicing last Wednesday while the team worked on a splint. The Cowboys are continuing to rest running back DeMarco Murray on the first practice of a game week because of a sprained foot that cost him six games earlier this season.
Inside linebacker Ernie Sims is not practicing because of a concussion he suffered early in the overtime win against the Steelers.
Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware was on the practice field Wednesday. Ware missed three days of practice last week with a hyperextended right elbow, but he played Sunday vs. Pittsburgh.
Less than a week after surgery for a sports hernia, nose tackle Jay Ratliff was not at practice.
