Holloman was the sixth-round pick, No. 185 overall.

Holloman was credited with 57 tackles in 13 games after moving from safety to linebacker last season at South Carolina. He intercepted three passes, had eight tackles for loss, four pass breakups and two sacks.

Because of the new collective bargaining agreement, teams are signing draft picks earlier than in past years.

The Cowboys still have to reach deals with Travis Frederick (first round), Gavin Escobar (second), Terrance Williams (third), J.J. Wilcox (third), B.W. Webb (fourth) and Joseph Randle (fifth).
