OXNARD, Calif. – Much has been made about the logistics involved in how the Cowboys will call offensive plays this season that the defensive logistics have largely been ignored.

PODCAST
Tim MacMahon joins Richard Durrett and Landry Locker from Oxnard, Calif., to discuss the latest news from Cowboys training camp.

Listen Listen
Here you go:

Defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin will be in the coaches’ booth. He will relay the play calls to the sideline where linebackers coach Matt Eberflus will relay them to Sean Lee.

On offense, Bill Callahan will call plays from the coaches’ booth to quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson, who will relay them to Tony Romo.

League rules prevent direct communication from the coaches booth to the players on the field.
