Injury report: Kevin Kowalski leaves practice

OXNARD, Calif. -- Cowboys guard Kevin Kowalski left practice after getting injured during pass-rush drills Tuesday.

Team officials were trying to determine the injury following Tuesday's practice, but he limped off the field and missed the final 30 minutes of the session.

David Arkin replaced Kowalski on the first- and second-team offensive units.

"I haven't gotten a report yet; they just said he's down," offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Bill Callahan said. "We'll get a little bit more information tonight when we get the trainer's report."

• Cornerback Morris Claiborne missed practice with a migraine. He missed a practice last season with the same issue.

• Defensive tackle Landon Cohen (eye), linebacker Justin Durant (rest), Cameron Sheffield (groin), Ike Igbinosun (lower leg), Jay Ratliff (hamstring), Ryan Cook (back), Ray Dominguez (shoulder), Mackenzy Bernadeau (hamstring), Demetress Bell (conditioning), Jermey Parnell (hamstring), Danny Coale (knee), James Hanna (hamstring) and Dez Bryant (hip) missed practice.

Bernadeau said he is running well and hopes to return next week.

"It's getting a lot better," Bernadeau said. "Not a lot of discomfort."

• Cole Beasley (quad) returned to practice without wearing a sleeve on his knee. Beasley missed two days of practice because of the injury.
