Morris Claiborne undergoes an MRI

OXNARD, Calif. -- Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne underwent an MRI on his knee that showed no structural damage.

Claiborne hasn't practiced this week and won't play in Saturday's preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. Claiborne is dealing with soreness in the knee and just needs rest. Cowboys officials don't believe it's serious.

Also, Cole Beasley (sprained foot), Kevin Kowalski (knee cap), Ryan Cook (back), Ronald Leary (right knee surgery expected), Ray Dominguez (shoulder), Nate Livings (knee), J.J. Wilcox (personal), Matt Johnson (stress reaction in foot), Eric Frampton (calf strain), Alex Albright (back), Ernie Sims (groin), Jay Ratliff (groin and hamstring), Anthony Spencer (knee) and Sean Lissemore (groin) missed practice on Thursday.
