Rayford returns, added to practice squad

November, 14, 2013
The Cowboys brought back defensive end Caesar Rayford on Thursday, two days after releasing him from the active roster to sign a bigger defensive lineman.

Rayford, who was signed to the practice squad, played in seven games and was credited with five tackles and one quarterback pressure. After the Cowboys released Rayford on Tuesday, they signed defensive tackle Corvey Irvin to the active roster to bolster that position.

The Rayford signing means the Cowboys have filled their eight practice squad spots.
