IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys right tackle Doug Free is recovering from right ankle surgery.

Free had cleanup surgery on his ankle after the season and is expected to be 100 percent before the offseason program begins in April.

Free did not miss a snap in 2013 in what was a bounce-back season after he agreed in the offseason to a pay cut, to $3.5 million. After committing 15 penalties in 2012, Free had eight in 2013, with only two holding calls. He had seven holding calls in 2012.

Wide receiver Dwayne Harris also had surgery, on his right shoulder. He missed three games with hamstring injuries. He finished the year with nine catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner against the Minnesota Vikings. He also averaged 12.8 yards per punt return, with an 86-yard touchdown, and 30.6 yards per kickoff return.

Defensive end DeMarcus Ware said after the season that he expected to undergo a scope on his right elbow, which has bothered him for two years, but nothing has been scheduled yet.
