IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys are looking to call Allianz Park their London home when they travel overseas for their Nov. 9 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.

Allianz Park is home to the Saracens Rugby Club and was renovated within the past two years. The stadium has an artificial turf surface. Some teams have complained about the practice and playing surfaces for their games in London, which is a factor in the Cowboys’ decision.

The Cowboys plan to leave for London the day after playing the St. Louis Rams on Nov. 2 at AT&T Stadium. Teams have had varied practice schedules for the games in London, with some choosing to remain at their facilities to practice for as long as possible, while others have gone early to get adjusted.

Officials with the Cowboys and the NFL will make a trip to London next month to finalize the logistics.
