Jones not surprised by Sensabaugh

By Calvin Watkins

Safety Gerald Sensabaugh is getting some interest from NFL teams regarding his second round tender. Whether or not he gets a visit to another team remains to be seen.

Jerry Jones said teams interest in his strong safety, who finished sixth in total tackles with 81 and third in pass breakups with 10, is expected.

"That doesn’t surprise me for any of our players to have interest," Jones said Tuesday. "But I don’t know if that’s a concern because I've heard it. I cross that bridge when we made the decision on what we're going to do in free agency on restricting him."

The Cowboys are interested in keeping Sensabaugh long-term, but Jones seemed to hint he wanted to see what the market is for his safety before doing anything.
