NFC East opponents concern Jerry Jones
By Calvin Watkins
Let's be honest, the Cowboys have done nothing in free agency. Nothing.
Maybe that's fine considering all the money the team spent in the last three years taking care of their own players and signing free agents such as Ken Hamlin, Leonard Davis and Keith Brooking.
And besides, the Cowboys have won the NFC East in 2007 and 2009.
But this offseason the rest of the NFC East got a little better.
The Redskins improved with the trade of Donovan McNabb and now possibly trying to upgrade the wide receiver position with getting Terrell Owens.
The Eagles and Giants haven't made major moves, but have done some things to the roster that has Jerry Jones concerned.
"I do have concern," Jones said. "They have improved and yes, I do have concerns. I don’t know if that means we haven’t done things or wouldn't have done things that we have improved as well. But I certainly look with interest and I can't tell you whether they’ve improved or not, but they sure have been moving around but I'm talking about at least Philadelphia and the Redskins."
The Redskins could sign left tackle Flozell Adams.
Redskins GM Bruce Allen said he's spoken with Adams' agent, Jordan Woy, but don't expect a signing until after the draft.
