W&M DL Lissemore caps Cowboys' draft
By Tim MacMahon
IRVING, Texas -- The Cowboys selected William & Mary defensive lineman Sean Lissemore with their seventh-round pick.
Lissemore (6-4, 298) will likely be a defensive end in Dallas. His best attributes are speed in quickness. He was clocked at 4.81 in the 40 at his pro day. He didn't receive an invitation to the scouting combine.
As a senior, Lissemore had 66 tackles (14 for losses) and 6.5 sacks.
Lissemore is likely a practice squad candidate as a rookie. The Cowboys tried to trade Marcus Spears but apparently found no takers, so they have four experienced ends returning, plus Marcus Dixon challenging for a spot after two seasons on the practice squad.
