Sam Young out; Dez Bryant in
By Calvin Watkins
The Cowboys left Houston with no injuries to any of their main players.
Backup tackle Sam Young, however, suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee and will miss three to four weeks.
The Cowboys are thinking of keeping Young on their 53-man roster, and this injury not only ends his preseason (the last game is Thursday), but it puts him out for at least the first two weeks of the regular season.
Young wasn't going to be active anyway -- Alex Barron is the swing tackle and Robert Brewster will play right tackle -- so it's not that big of a deal.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant (ankle) is expected to return at some point this week for practice. The Cowboys will have a walkthrough Tuesday and Wednesday, and if Bryant particpates and the starters play on Thursday night, he could get some snaps with the first team.
