Cowboys coach released; Williams hurt
By Calvin Watkins
SAN ANTONIO --Cowboys wide receivers coach Jimmy Robinson has been released from an area hospital after getting knocked unconscious during a special teams drills conducted Saturday afternoon.
Wide receiver Teddy Williams ran into Robinson while on the punt coverage unit as he stood on the sidelines.
"He was knocked cold and his neck and all the X-rays and all the test, the structure is good, so we're really relieved," said Jones, who added that Robinson also passed a CT scan.
While Robinson was taken off the field on a stretcher, Williams limped off the field and has a hamstring strain.
Team officials will move the VIP area near the sidelines further back to create more room along the sidelines.
"We need to move things back and we will," Jones said.
