Tashard Choice questionable for Sunday
By Todd Archer
IRVING, Texas -- Sunday’s game at Philadelphia would mark the since 2008 the Cowboys enter a regular season game with only two healthy tailbacks if Tashard Choice is unable to play with shoulder and hamstring injuries.
Choice, who had an MRI Friday, is listed as questionable on the injury report, while Felix Jones will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury, leaving rookies DeMarco Murray and Phillip Tanner as the healthiest tailbacks on the roster.
The Cowboys had at least four games in 2008 with only two tailbacks on the gameday roster after losing Jones and Marion Barber to toe injuries.
Punter Mat McBriar, who hurt his left foot late last week, is listed as probable after going through a full practice on Friday.
Defensive end Jason Hatcher (calf), right guard Kyle Kosier (foot) and guard Derrick Dockery (knee) are listed as questionable, however, Hatcher and Kosier will play. Dockery’s status could be determined by how many players Jason Garrett decides to keep active at other spots.
Kicker David Buehler (groin), safety Barry Church (shoulder) and quarterback Tony Romo (ribs) are probable. Buehler said he will be active for the first time since Week 2 at San Francisco.
