Sean Lee wears cast at practice
By Calvin Watkins
IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys starting inside linebacker Sean Lee was at practice Wednesday wearing a cast disguised as a club to protect a dislocated left wrist.
Lee missed last week's game with the injury and is hoping he can play in Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. If the swelling went down enough, the trainers and doctors would allow him to practice.
When Lee got to the practice field, defensive end Jason Hatcher playfully hit the cast and before stretching exercises, one player rubbed the cast/club for good luck.
Also, starting guard Kyle Kosier did some pre-practice drills with the offensive linemen because he's still nursing plantar fascia in his left heel. Derrick Dockery got some reps in place of Kosier at guard.
Punter Mat McBriar did attempt punts in practice while wearing a brace on his lower left leg to curtail the pain in his left foot (non-kicking) which has nerve issues.
Chris Jones also punted.
Felix Jones (ankle), Miles Austin (hamstring) and Mike Jenkins (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Backup tackle Jermey Parnell was not at practice because of a back injury.
