Sean Lee: We have a lot of optimism
Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee talks about the team's voluntary workouts, the upcoming draft, recent comments over leadership in the locker room and more.
On how the team feels heading into voluntary workouts:
"I think we have a lot of optimisim. If you look at last season, I think the biggest problem with the defense ... we weren't win games in the fourth quarter, we weren't able to make big plays in the fourth quarter, we weren't able to execute consistently in the fourth quarter.
"There were a lot of positives that came out of it. I look at our defense and I think we took a step forward in a lot of areas. If we can cut out bad football, if we can make plays in big situations ... We have the guys, we have the guys who work hard, we're doing everything we can to get better, and that's why I think this year we're going to take another step forward and we'll continue to do that in the future."
