Practice report: Dez Bryant, Felix Jones full participants

By Todd Archer

IRVING, Texas – Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant took part in a full practice for the first time in a week on Wednesday because of a hip injury, and running back Felix Jones had his first full workout in two weeks because of a knee injury.

Bryant did not practice last week leading up to the Atlanta game after hurting his hip Oct. 28 against the New York Giants. He was held to a season-low one catch for 15 yards against the Falcons. In the two games in which Bryant has been listed as questionable (Atlanta, Carolina) he has had three catches for 29 yards.

Jones had not taken part in a full practice since Oct. 19. He suffered a bruised knee against Carolina in addition to a nerve irritation in his neck.

Linebacker Dan Connor returned to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday after missing last week with a stinger. Connor said he would be 50-50 for Sunday’s game at Philadelphia. He has added protection to his pads this week to help stabilize his neck.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (ankle) did not practice. He sprained his left ankle in the second quarter of the Atlanta loss, but the team is hopeful he can play this week. Running back DeMarco Murray (foot), center Phil Costa (ankle), defensive end Sean Lissemore (ankle) and safety Matt Johnson (hamstring) also did not practice.
