Felix Jones returns to practice
By Calvin Watkins
IRVING, Texas -- Backup running back Felix Jones, with knee braces on both knees, returned to practice Thursday at Valley Ranch. He missed practice Wednesday and how much work he'll get in hasn't been determined.
"He's done a really good job fighting through a couple of these injuries, knowing the situation we have with DeMarco (Murray) being out for a little while," coach Jason Garrett said Thursday morning at Valley Ranch. "He’s just kind of stepped up, has gotten himself ready to play in the ballgames. He's done a good job when we’ve handed it to him, a good job when we’ve thrown it to him."
Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (groin), cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hand and wrist), center Phil Costa (ankle) and defensive tackle Ben Bass (ankle) missed practice.
However, starting running back DeMarco Murray (foot) was at practice during the open portion to the media. Murray officially returned to practice Wednesday after missing six games with a sprained foot.
