Nate Livings, Jay Ratliff miss practice

By Calvin Watkins

IRVING, Texas -- Just one day after nearly having a full roster on the practice field, the Cowboys were without starting left guard Nate Livings (knee) during Thursday's practice session.

Livings was watching the offensive line work during the open portion of practice. If Livings is unable to play against his former team Sunday, expect Derrick Dockery to get the start against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff, who dressed out Wednesday but didn't practice, wasn't on the practice field Thursday as he continues to nurse a groin injury that's cost him the last two games.

As expected, safety Charlie Peprah (foot) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (hand) missed practice.

Starting running back DeMarco Murray returned after missing Wednesday's practice as a precaution.
