"I'm feeling great. Tomorrow I'm going to get out there with the team a little bit and do some stuff," Murray said. "Just taking it slow and I'm not trying to push it; we don't have a game this weekend. I'm trying to make sure I'm smart and let this thing heal up."

Murray didn't know specifically when his hamstring acted up, but the Cowboys -- as they are with all hamstring injuries -- are being cautious.

Murray's durability has become a hot topic this offseason. He missed six games last season because of a sprained foot and missed the final three games of his rookie season because of a fractured ankle.

The Cowboys drafted Joseph Randle in the fifth round as insurance at running back in case of an injury to Murray.

"I'm not concerned at all and I wouldn't say I'm injury prone at all," Murray said. "It just happened and it's something I'm not worried about, and you have to be smart about it. There's not a game this weekend, so I'm slowly but surely make sure I'm doing the right things to stay on the field. Hey, it came up and I'm going to deal with it and move on from it."
