Dallas' Ronald Leary returns to practice

IRVING, Texas -- The first practice of the 2013 regular season was conducted under a light drizzle at Valley Ranch on Monday.
There was some good news as left guard Ronald Leary (knee) returned to practice after missing a little more than two weeks with his injury. Leary got snaps with the first- and-second team offenses during the open portion of practice to the media.
Also, guard Mackenzy Bernadeau (ankle) and defensive tackle Jason Hatcher (groin) returned to practice after some minor injuries.
Among the missing were running back Lance Dunbar (foot), safeties Danny McCray (hamstring) and Eric Frampton (calf) and defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee).
Several players changed jersey numbers: running back Joseph Randle is No. 21, center Travis Frederick is No. 72 and defensive end George Selvie is No. 99. Newly acquired defensive end Edgar Jones is No. 55 and linebacker Kyle Bosworth is No. 58.
