ARLINGTON -- Boxing promoter Bob Arum is in Cowboys Stadium talking with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones at midfield here.

Arum is in town to finalize a Manny Pacquiao-Joshua Clottey fight for March 13 at Cowboys Stadium. Recently Arum wanted a Floyd Mayweather-Pacquiao fight for Cowboys Stadium, but the MGM Grand in Las Vegas secured the bout.

Arum along with Top Rank president Todd duBoef will have serious talks with Jones on Sunday.

There is still speculation that Mayweather-Pacquiao will still happen.

The Grand Rapids Press is reporting that Dallas Cowboys officials, including Jerry Jones, will meet with boxing promoter Bob Arum on Thursday about hosting a March 13 superfight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao at Cowboys Stadium.

Cowboys’ officials were not available to confirm the meeting and Arum didn’t return a phone call seeking comment on Sunday night.

On Friday, a source with knowledge of the meeting told ESPN's Dan Rafael that Pacquiao signed a contract to fight Mayweather on March 13. Arum has since denied that report. Mayweather has signed.

Arum said ringside seats for the bout could start at $2,500 a seat, which is more than the 2002 heavyweight bout between Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson in Memphis. The ringside seats for that bout started at $2,400.

The report stated Arum would like to finalize a venue for the bout this week, with Las Vegas as the other city in the running to host the fight. The MGM Grand Garden Arena is the Las Vegas site bidding for the fight.
