Cowboys' injured list grows by two

August, 14, 2011
ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Cowboys’ injury report has grown by two over the last two days with linebacker Alex Daniels and cornerback Ross Weaver suffering ankle injuries.

Daniels was hurt Sunday while working through special teams’ drills and did not return after getting taken off the field on a cart. Daniels was off-and-on the practice squad last season and bounced around from fullback to defensive end. He has played outside linebacker during training camp.

Weaver suffered his injury on Saturday and was in a walking boot on Sunday. With Terence Newman out with a groin injury and Mike Jenkins (stinger) only taking part in individual drills, the Cowboys have only six healthy cornerbacks.
