FORT WORTH, Texas -- Jason Dufner’s fourth-round approach shot that spun back into the pond at No. 9 was the seventh to find the water hazard today and the 29th in the pond this week.
Dufner’s miscue led to a double-bogey, which allowed Zach Johnson to tie him for the lead at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
The par-4 ninth at Colonial Country Club was playing shorter today at 386 yards to a front left pin position, which brought the water into play.
For the week at No. 9, there were 96 bogeys, 20 double bogeys and five triple bogeys or higher. The hole is tied for fourth in difficulty.
