According to a twitter post, Mesquite Horn cornerback and Under Armor All-American De'Vante Harris has rescinded his verbal commitment to the University of Oklahoma.
@Official_DH10: Just decommitted from the University of Oklahoma.

The four-star recruit committed to Oklahoma in April of 2011 and had been actively involved in forming a bond with other OU recruits via social media.

Harris has offers from Stanford, North Texas, Virginia, Mississippi State, Kansas State, SMU and Texas Tech.

Harris had said OU was his first choice even before the Sooners had offered him a scholarship just months earlier, when he was given his All-American jersey at a Horn pep-rally.
