THE BIG QUESTION: After the retirement of Eddy Peach after 40 years at Lamar, which coach will head up the dominant 5A program in the Arlington ISD?

There are plenty of candidates.

Kenny Perry has presided over Bowie's remarkable 41-11 turnaround the last four seasons.

Bob Wager led Martin to its deepest playoff run last season. Scott Peach (Eddy’s son) guided Arlington to the fourth playoff round last season.

Danny Edelman has emerging offensive talent at Sam Houston. And former Bowie offensive coordinator Trent Fuller takes over at Lamar.
