Texas HS coaches disappointed in A&M's move
ESPN Recruiting reporter Damon Sayles talked to several high school football coaches about Texas A&M heading to the SEC, and the responses weren't positive.
One common concern voiced was about the loss of tradition.
Katy Morton Ranch coach Dave Meadows, put in perspective by talking about Von Miller and Cyrus Gray, whom he coached at DeSoto before they went to A&M:
"If this would have happened in the middle of their careers, I would have been irritated. I think this is going to cheat some of the kids out of history and tradition. Some say this will give our kids a chance to play in the SEC. I think we've got players who already have those chances."
