Erick Dampier was released from a Michigan hospital Monday afternoon, according to a Dallas Mavericks spokesman.
Dampier, who was hospitalized after becoming ill before Sunday's win over the Detroit Pistons, will join the team after the game in Milwaukee and fly back to Dallas on Monday night.
