ARLINGTON, Texas -- OK, the pregame show, that had Usher sing a few songs, the national anthems of the United States and Canada play, fans walking all over the place, celebrities, Gabrielle Union, Common, Chris Tucker, P. Diddy and more, is over.

Tip off is forthcoming.

By the way, Dirk Nowitzki got the loudest ovation of all the players introduced. LeBron James came in a close second. Also, Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz, who played high school ball at The Colony, also received a nice ovation.

The first NBA game at Cowboys Stadium is about to start in a few moments.
Calvin Watkins joined ESPNDallas.com in September 2009. He's covered the Cowboys since 2006 and also has covered colleges, boxing and high school sports.
