Straw ban makes NBA look silly
Why has it suddenly become an issue for the league office?
According to Mark Cuban, the league let Butler know that his straw chomping violates NBA rules. It apparently took the league almost eight years to figure this out.
It makes no sense for the NBA to suddenly force Butler, who is already adjusting to a new team and new city, to drop his harmless habit. Aren't there more important issues that need attention from David Stern and Co.?
