DALLAS -- No need to remind the San Antonio Spurs that they're playing the team with the NBA's best road record.
The Mavs (27-14 on the road) rallied for a win the last time they were in San Antonio. They won two of three games in the AT&T Center during last season's playoffs.
"This is a long series," Spurs star Manu Ginobili said after Game 2. "We’ve lost at home to them many times, so we’ve just got to stay humble, keep working hard, knowing full well that it’s going to be a long series."
The Mavs' mission is to respond to their loss the same way the Spurs did after Game 1, which means playing with great focus and intensity. The Spurs are sick and tired of losing to the Mavs at home, so they won't be caught sleeping.
