SAN ANTONIO -- Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said he has no problem with NBA commissioner David Stern potential doling out suspensions to coaches, players, and presumably owners, who habitually criticize the league's referees -- not that Cuban would do such a thing.
Stern made the statement Thursday night in Oklahoma City. The league fined Lakers coach a total of $70,000 this month.
"I haven't been fined on a ref in how many years now?" Cuban said. "I guess my tweet, but that was planned for me to get more twitter followers. So, it's not an issue for me."
Cuban was fined $25,000 for criticizing refs on his Twitter account in March 2009.
