Roddy Beaubois's summer just got a busier. The Dallas Mavericks' prized 2009 first-round draft pick was selected to play for the French national team that will compete in the FIBA World Championship in Turkey.

The championships run from August 28 through September 12.

Beaubois, who will play for the Dallas Mavericks summer league team in Las Vegas in July, can thank comrade Tony Parker. The San Antonio Spurs point guard opted not to play this summer after a season of enduring multiple injuries.
