Hawks home in on Johnson, Casey

Mavericks assistant Dwane Casey and former coach Avery Johnson are the two finalists for the Atlanta Hawks' head coaching vacancy, according to this story by ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

According to the story, the Hawks interviewed Johnson twice last week and have scheduled Casey for a second interview this week.

Both were also candidates for the New Orleans Hornets job that reportedly has been offered to Boston Celtics assistant Tom Thibodeau. The Hornets' second choice, in case Thibodeau turns them down, apparently is Portland Trail Blazers assistant Monty Williams.
