Nothing to see here. That's basically the gist of Tuesday night's anticipated meeting between Pulitzer Prize-winning author Buzz Bissinger and Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
"He believes the NBA [marketing model] is in good shape and that's his opinion," Bissinger told the Philadelphia Daily News. "But yeah, no sparks. Everyone left grinning at the end."
The two arranged a meeting after an expletive-filled argument for the world to see on Twitter after Cuban called Bissinger "a coward" for a column he had written.
But there were no fireworks during their meeting in Philly on Tuesday night.
"I thought it went well," Bissinger told the Daily News. "There were no fireworks at all, he was cordial and friendly. We spoke for about 15 minutes and I was open to discussing the issue of race and the NBA, but he never brought it up."
