Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said Friday morning that center Brendan Haywood is expected to play in tonight's game vs. the Spurs.
Haywood has missed the last two games with lower back stiffness.

The last time Haywood played he scored four points in 13 minutes in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on March 12. This will be just the second time Haywood has played against the Spurs this year. He was suspended for the first meeting back in November and didn't play in the late December contest.

But he did play 21 minutes in a loss on Jan. 14, grabbing four rebounds and scoring six points.

Also, forward Peja Stojakovic will miss his sixth consecutive game with a stiff neck.

Stojakovic hasn't played since March 7.
Calvin Watkins joined ESPNDallas.com in September 2009. He's covered the Cowboys since 2006 and also has covered colleges, boxing and high school sports.
