Mavs tie NBA record for most 3-pointers

DALLAS -- The Mavericks made 20-of-32 3-pointers in Sunday's Game 4 blowout of the Los Angeles Lakers to tie an NBA record for most 3s in playoff game.

"The Seattle SuperSonics made 20 against the Houston Rockets on May 6, 1996.

Jason Terry led the way with a career playoff-high nine 3-pointers on 10 attempts to finish with a game-high 32 points. He tied an NBA record for most 3-pointers in a playoff game.

"And I fumbled away two or three opportunities," Terry said. shaking his head. "One early and one late."

Peja Stojakovic was 6-of-6 as he set a new career playoff high. In the first round he tied his previous record of five in Game 2 with five.

Brian Cardinal got Dallas to 20 late in the fourth quarter.

The Mavs' 20 3s in the game were five more than the Lakers made all series.
