DALLAS -- The Raptors seemed on the verge of running the old, slow and out of shape Mavs right out of the AAC.
Vince Carter and Co. came to the rescue.
The Raptors took the lead with a 14-0 run against a Mavs squad that appeared worn down while playing the butt end of a back-to-back. After Rick Carlisle called a timeout and made some substitutions, the Mavs responded with a 16-2 run to regain the lead, including 13 consecutive points.
Carter had eight points during the run, which he started with a 3-pointer and tough 14-footer off the dribble on consecutive possessions.
