Shawn Marion hopes knee remains OK
"Let's hope not,'' Marion said when asked what he expects the knee to swell or stiffen overnight. "I'm planning on coming in [Thursday] and getting treatment and hopefully, it'll be good. It did [hyperextend] a little bit. It hurt. But we'll keep treating it.''
Marion said he thought about coming out of the game at that point with four minutes left in the second quarter, but after a 20 second timeout he was back on the floor.
"We were shorthanded enough," Marion said.
Dallas was already playing without three key figures -- point guard Jason Kidd, center Brendan Haywood, who came down with some lower-back stiffness and Lamar Odom, who was sent home with a stomach ailment.
Coach Rick Carlisle said he hopes Haywood and Odom will be ready for Friday's home game against the Pacers. Kidd is out at least until Saturday's game at Cleveland.
