Jason Kidd out at least a week; Lamar Odom out tonight
Reserve forward Lamar Odom will also miss Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers because of a stomach illness.
Coach Rick Carlisle said the 39-year-old Kidd’s groin had been bothering him and was part of the reason why Delonte West played the entire fourth quarter during Friday night’s comeback win over the Orlando Magic.
“It’s been something that’s been an issue and we have to get resolved,” Carlisle said.
Kidd will miss at least four games. That includes three against teams the Mavs are fighting for Western Conference playoff positioning: the Clippers and home and road games against the Memphis Grizzlies.
