The Dallas Mavericks did not advance discussions with free agent point guard Ramon Sessions over the weekend, however those talks are likely to resume Monday, according to a source close to the situation.

The Mavs and Houston Rockets appear to be at the top of Sessions' list because of the possibility of assuming a starting role for either club.

Sessions would have made $4.55 million next season with the Los Angeles Lakers had he not opted out of the final year of his deal.
