Rodrigue Beaubois returns to practice
Beaubois had been sidelined by a sprained left ankle since the Mavs’ Oct. 6 exhibition opener. The plan is for Beaubois to play in Saturday’s exhibition game at Atlanta.
“Roddy did good today,” coach Rick Carlisle said. “I expect him to practice tomorrow. If he can get through practice tomorrow, I expect him to play Saturday.”
Carlisle declined to give an update about Dirk Nowitzki, who hasn’t practiced or played this week while the Mavs’ medical staff evaluates his right knee and ponders whether he should undergo arthroscopic surgery before the season.
