Jae Crowder after hamstring scare: I'm fine
Second-round pick Jae Crowder, who looks like a steal after averaging 11.4 points and 4.5 rebounds during the preseason, appeared to injure his hamstring near the end of Saturday night's game. He grabbed the hamstring after a dunk, left the game immediately and headed to the locker room seconds later.
However, Crowder said after the game that he fully expects to be ready for Tuesday night's season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I scared myself," said Crowder, who had 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and two blocks in the win over the Bobcats. "It scared me more than anything, but I'm fine. It's cool. I'll be fine."
