Mavericks' O.J. Mayo in good company

It’s early, of course.

You’re going to hear that in November with the Mavericks mowing through a mostly favorable schedule while Dirk Nowitzki recovers from arthroscopic knee surgery.

But it’s still somewhat impressive to see the names O.J. Mayo is grouped with here on this two-weeks-in list of players on new teams making the biggest offensive impact.

Thanks to his recent scoring spree against Charlotte, Portland and Toronto, Mayo ranks third in the league among players with the highest scoring averages in their first season with a new club.
