The Mavericks' meeting with Dwight Howard in Los Angeles lasted approximately three hours, ESPN Los Angeles' Ramona Shelburne reported from the scene.
Mark Cuban, Donnie Nelson, Rick Carlisle and Dirk Nowitzki participated in the Mavs' pitch to Howard. Mavs head athletic trainer Casey Smith and director of analytics Roland Beech were also present.
"It was fun," Cuban coyly told ESPN's Shelley Smith as the Mavs' contingent left the meeting location.
The Mavs were the fourth team to meet with the All-Star center, following the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors. Howard is scheduled to finish up his meetings when the Los Angeles Lakers make their pitch later today to try to persuade him to stay in L.A.
