Dallas Mavericks point guard Jose Calderon suffered a right knee contusion during Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns.

Calderon did not return to the game after early in the fourth quarter.

That left rookie first-round pick Shane Larkin as the lone healthy point guard in a Dallas uniform. Fellow rookie backup Gal Mekel underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair meniscus on Friday. Veteran Devin Harris, who underwent offseason toe surgery, could make his season debut as soon as Saturday night against the Portland Trail Blazers.
