Mavericks center Samuel Dalembert participated in the team's Wednesday morning shootaround and plans to play against the Toronto Raptors.

Dalembert suffered a strained left shoulder during Monday's win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and did not return to the game after leaving early in the third quarter. He did not practice Tuesday and underwent an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.

Dalembert, the Mavs’ primary starting center, is averaging 6.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 20.2 minutes per game this season. The only two instances in which he has not played in a game this season have been coach's decisions, one due to him being late to practice.
