Ellington (personal reasons) out vs. Nuggets

DENVER – Mavericks reserve swingman Wayne Ellington will not play Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets due to personal reasons.

Ellington recently earned a spot in the Mavs’ rotation and has averaged 5.8 points in 14.3 minutes over the last six games.

Ellington’s absence should put Jae Crowder at least temporarily back in the rotation. Crowder has played a total of only three minutes in the Mavericks’ last five games, posting a pair of triple-doubles in two D-League appearances during that span.
