Mavs' schedule set for summer league

The Dallas Mavericks will be one of 24 teams that will compete in this year’s Samsung NBA Summer League July 11-21 at the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

For the second consecutive year, the event will feature a tournament-style schedule, culminating in the crowning of the champion on Monday, July 21. Each team will play three games apiece between July 11 and 15 before being seeded in the tournament, which tips off July 16. Each team will play a minimum of five games overall.

Announcements of Dallas’ summer league roster should come shortly after the June 26 draft. The Mavs will tip things off against the New York Knicks on July 11 at 3 p.m. CST. The Mavs’ schedule is as follows:

July 11: New York vs. Dallas, 3 p.m. (NBA TV)
July 12: Dallas vs. Minnesota, 5:30 p.m.
July 14: Toronto vs. Dallas, 5 p.m. (NBA TV)
July 16: Tournament play begins
